*This sculpture is named Transformation.  The Bible teaches us that we will go through a transformation to be acceptable in heaven (Philippians 3:20–21:  20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself).

The front of the wood sculpture, which is earth colored, represents our earthly selves and the back of the sculpture, which is bleached white, represents us in our transformed state.  The carvings on the back also have meaning.  The long curved line represents our individual life paths with all of its twists and turns.  The ripples to the right of the curve represents the bumps we all experience in life and the tear drop shape at the bottom represents the tears we shed during the difficult times and during the joyous times in our lives.  The base is brown representing the earth.
